Ganzach Phone Program
Ganzach Kiddush Hashem offers a program in which one can listen to survivors describing their Holocaust and postwar experiences over the phone. Since its inauguration, the program has accumulated tens of thousands of listening hours in thousands of calls to the line at all hours of the day from Israel and abroad.
“There is no doubt that the audio program of Ganzach Kiddush Hashem is a real breakthrough in public accessibility to the special commemoration and documentation of the martyrs of the Holocaust,” stated the president of Ganzach Kiddush Hashem, Rabbi David Skulsky. “Many descendants are surprised to suddenly hear the voices of their grandfather or grandmother, without knowing beforehand that they had been interviewed,” he added.
This initiative has created a revolution in the awareness of the Holocaust and spiritual heroism, with the opportunity to learn what true self-sacrifice is and to identify with the memory of the victims.
